Each microphone is unique, in that it is shaped by hand the old-fashioned, slow way using hand tools. Each part of every microphone is worked on until it is done, and each microphone is tested extensively and sold on an individual basis. The microphones are sold together with a wind-sock and a secure padded wooden box for storage and transportation.

The electonics couldn't be simpler; the only components being the ribbon, the transformer, and the output connector. The microphones deliver an output level similar to most modern dynamic microphones, with extremely low self-noise, excellent electrical shielding and a fully balanced output. There are no active electonics to colour the sound, and phantom power is not required.
